Present in over 40 country around the world Caffè Cagliari has a long history and tradition: it was in 1909 when Ambrogio Cagliari, after many years spent in Brazil and a great number of awards for his highly-acclaimed coffee blends, opened the first coffee roasting and tasting shop in Modena. For more than 100 years and across four generations, the Cagliari family has passed on their knowledge of the origins of coffee, their production secrets and experience, together with a deep and authentic passion for coffee. Traditional recipes were modified over time, and today Caffè Cagliari is one of the major coffee roasting plants in Italy and abroad.
In over 100 years of activity, Caffè Cagliari has focused its efforts on the production of Espresso coffee blends of constant and refined quality, striving to improve the production process. From raw coffee to the cup, Caffè Cagliari focuses the same attention to detail through every step: from beanselection, roasting, blending, and packaging to the ultimate destination; the extraction of espresso coffee. Superoro represents the pinnacle of high quality research, a special blend of roasted coffee beans for espresso, that features an innovative package with a one-way high-pressure valve, which prevents the natural aromas of freshly roasted coffee from escaping.
Caffè Cagliari offers to its Partners a centenary expertise in the training and education of coffee professionals. The international project called ‘School of coffee … on the road’ is based on bringing a qualified instructor and specialized courses from the Italian School of Caffè Cagliari to their Partners International headquarters to educate their teams. In 2009, on the occasion of 100 year from its foundation, the company opened the Caffè Cagliari Collection. The company museum is one of the largest museums of Italian Espresso coffee machines in the world and includes more than 100 examples of great historical and stylistic value: from the first steam-powered, column-shaped machines of the early 1900s, to the manual lever machines of the post-war period, up to the first continual flow models of the 1960s- The very jewels of Italian technique and design.
