Caffè Cagliari S.p.A is pleased to present its new line of Keurig® system compatible pods. The official launch will take place alongside Asian Partners, OWL Beverage Specialist FHA – Food and Hotel Asia 2016 which will be held in Singapore from 12-15 April.
The introduction of Keurig® compatible pods into the market represents another step forward in the company’s strategy for internationalisation in both mature markets, such as the United States, and those of emerging countries.
Caffè Cagliari continues to focus its attention on the single serve market through its entry into a sector with highly significant figures; the consumption of Keurig® pods represents 3.1% of the global coffee market and, according to statistics for the North American market, Keurig® is the highest selling brand, by far. In fact, Keurig® pods accounted for $18.40 out of every $100 spent in 2015.
During FHA 2016, Caffè Cagliari will focus specifically on the Asian market, thanks to the partnership agreement signed last year with the OWL Beverage Specialist (OBS) group, a part of Supergroup Ltd, with offices in Singapore and the exclusive Asian distributor of Caffè Cagliari products.
The project is part of the company development plan which, through a series of strategic agreements, aims to increase the distribution of its products by taking advantage of the best opportunities for marketing. Proof of this can be seen in the 2015 export sales figures for Asia, which marked an increase of 24%.
The current Espresso ILove line by Caffè Cagliari includes pods compatible with Nespresso® and A Modo Mio® systems, each consisting of 5 different aromas.
The line of Keurig® compatible pods consists of Gran Caffè, Deca and 100% Arabica, and will go on sale starting this summer, mainly in the Retail sector.
